Exploring Poetry Through AI

Image
Made with PicsArt Hello guys! Today tried out an AI simulation that talks and writes like Emily Dickinson, and the whole thing was way more interesting than I would have expected. The program was so realistic that some of the replies gave me chills because it almost felt like she was answering my questions while sitting right beside me. I was taken aback by how naturally it mimicked her artistry and way of speaking. This broadened my views on how AI might reshape everyday reading and how holding a conversation with a robot can actually be pretty inspiring! ────୨ৎ──── Using this AI in my work was far from flawless, though. Thinking about new questions that the bot would answer in an interesting and clear way was a hard thing for me. I think it answered best when I asked clear prompts that she can use to analyze her answer. So that caused me to ask as thoughtfully as possible. ────୨ৎ──── The writing feedback AI was good, but in my opinion, it was not enough feedback. I had to u...

Reflections on Collaborative Writing Essay

Image
₊✩‧₊˚౨ৎ˚₊✩‧₊ Hello everyone! 💗 Doing this online collaborating essay was actually way more fun than I would’ve expected. At first me my peers and Muhammed and İrem struggled with finding a movie we all watched, but I managed to find one. At last, we talked about one of our favourite anime movies, “Your Name,” and created a Google doc in which we worked on.  Using Google Docs was overall easy for us because we also had a Zoom meeting together where we figured out how to use the app together. We also talked about many aspects of the movie while we were at it, and it was really fun to talk about a movie I love with some of my best friends. We even decided we should go to the cinema together when we are all free! Hopefully, my friends enjoyed making this project with me as well. Furthermore, this assignment gave us a chance to talk about our takes on this movie in a more critical way, and it was interesting to hear that everyone had different parts of the movie that they liked most. ...

The Digital Story Telling Project

Image
⛓️⚔️⛓️  For our latest storytelling project, Muhammad and I created a two-minute storytelling video about the moral of teamwork, and I have to say the entire process was a blast! I have always loved doing voiceovers, and this was one of the rare opportunities where I was able to showcase that particular talent. The story we wrote is based on the two princes with different personalities, and how they went on to try to defeat a dragon because their father, the king, told them to do so. One of the princes was brave, though a little on the callous side, and the other was intelligent but extremely timid. So I believe in a way they possessed a mixture of opposing advantages and disadvantages. It’s a short about their journey to defeat the dragon. It may be a short story, but our story packs a lot of wisdom. Muhammed and I equally divided the writing work. I voiced the narrator while he gave life to the princes through his different voices. In my opinion, his performance added so much sco...

The Making of “The Wallet in the Forest”

Image
This image was created by ChatGPT   For this podcast assignment, we worked on a short mystery story we named  “The Wallet in the Forest.”  The objective was to create a 90-second fictional podcast, complete with many sound effects, a dramatic climax, and a satisfying conclusion. In our story, a girl named Sara makes an unusual discovery during a class field trip to the forest: a wallet. What starts off as a strange yet mild surprise spirals into the frightening tale of a robbery gone wrong, bizarre men masquerading as police officers, and a woman who has vanished, leaving only her cat and a pair of earrings behind.  . ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁  It was enjoyable, even though it was somewhat challenging sometimes. To me, determining the genre and plot took a lot of work. We wanted the story to be suspenseful yet manageable in terms of time. A lost wallet and a forest setting ultimately became the story’s catalyst, and everything else followed seamlessly. I particularly enjoye...

Understanding Cyberbullying an Infographic

Image
Hi! I decided to make an infographic about cyberbullying to be able to raise awareness about the issue and hopefully help people who are facing cyberbullying even now.  I created this infographic on Canva and used various symbols to make the subject as easy to understand as possible. (●'◡'●) Cyberbullying is one of the most important issues in the modern era and forces kids or even adults to feel scared about using social media. These days, it has become usual to see people impersonating other people on the internet to frame them or get recognition by using their pictures. People also think that if they don't share their own pictures on the internet, they can just say anything and not be found out, but that is simply not true. While searching for this infographic, I noticed many websites that help people who are victims of cyberbullying. I think that this infographic can help learners in the English classroom simply by how easy to understand the examples are and the fact ...

Learning in 21st Century Comes With Innovative Changes!

Image
⋆⭒˚.⋆ Hello everyone!   ⋆⭒˚.⋆ In this post, I plan on talking about my thoughts on 21st-century learning and briefly mentioning some approaches that I would adapt to my classrooms in the future.❤️   In my opinion, effective learning in the 21st century is all about how well you use technological applications and websites. With the progress of technology in our century developing more and more each day, the education sector and its means of educating students have transformed a lot too. These days keeping students focused during the lessons has become a hard task for teachers as students can already find relative information with just a few clicks.  That’s why English teachers should search for innovative approaches to help their students learn and have a better understanding. An example of those approaches I would like to give would be STEM and STEAM approaches. Both of those approaches were found so that they could prepare students for innovative careers that are ...
