Goodbye, Everyone!

Hello, my dear friends! I've come here to give some sad news...I'm leaving once again. 😓

As this course comes to an end, I want to take a moment to reflect and say goodbye to all my fellow learners and followers. This course has been an exciting journey in my education journey, and I’ve learned so much about integrating digital tools effectively into lesson plans just like how I've learn from Gökçe teacher's course.

One of the best parts of this course, in my opinion, was how personal it was and how we can use our blogs in our CVs in the future. Writing these blogs and creating these materials also helped me practise what we are learning in class better. But I'd say the downside to all of this was trying to understand some of the more advanced technologies and using them. I found it to be tricky sometimes as I'm not good at using computers at all..😶

My favourite task was definitely preparing the flipped classroom teaching material with my pairs. I had so much fun with the characters I voiced, and when we showed our video to class, the teacher said, "Is the clown actually a real clown?" I couldn't help but laugh because I didn't realize jus how much I was into my role when voicing that clown. It was such a fun experience for sure.

When it comes to my least favourite, I would say it was the AI-integrated lesson plan, as I found it to be boring. It didn't really include anything that I hadn't done before while preparing a lesson plan, and was similar to the other assignment I've made. While it was useful, I didn't enjoy it as much as the other tasks and was bored while working on it.

If I were to give a suggestion, I'd say the more personal involvement the assignment requires, the better. And the assignments could be way more creative than they are now. One thing I'd tell the students who will take the course next year is to be creative while doing assignments and not to delete their blogs after the lessons end, as they could be useful in the future.

Lastly, I'd say that this course helped me get better at creating lessons that use both pedagogy and technology. I believe that these learnings will be very important in my teaching journey in the future.

Until next time! See you guys soon 💜
