Learning in 21st Century Comes With Innovative Changes!

In this post, I plan on talking about my thoughts on 21st-century learning and briefly mentioning some approaches that I would adapt to my classrooms in the future.❤️

  In my opinion, effective learning in the 21st century is all about how well you use technological applications and websites. With the progress of technology in our century developing more and more each day, the education sector and its means of educating students have transformed a lot too. These days keeping students focused during the lessons has become a hard task for teachers as students can already find relative information with just a few clicks.

 That’s why English teachers should search for innovative approaches to help their students learn and have a better understanding. An example of those approaches I would like to give would be STEM and STEAM approaches. Both of those approaches were found so that they could prepare students for innovative careers that are in tune with the 21st century. I truly believe that these approaches are very useful when integrated into English classrooms. 

Some technological integrations of those approaches that I would make in my own English classrooms:

 ✔ Assigning my students to make English presentations using design tools and AI. 

✔ Encouraging my students to make their own podcasts and virtual author interviews. 

✔ Assigning my students to start their own blogging adventure! 

In conclusion, I truly believe that these changes are very important steps in ELT that we teachers have to take as the world keeps spinning and we need to find new ways to keep our students learning effectively!

I decided to make an infographic about cyberbullying to be able to raise awareness about the issue and hopefully help people who are facing cyberbullying even now.  I created this infographic on Canva and used various symbols to make the subject as easy to understand as possible. The Making of “The Wallet in the Forest”

This image was created by ChatGPT   For this podcast assignment, we worked on a short mystery story we named  “The Wallet in the Forest.”  The objective was to create a 90-second fictional podcast, complete with many sound effects, a dramatic climax, and a satisfying conclusion. In our story, a girl named Sara makes an unusual discovery during a class field trip to the forest: a wallet.
